Pinhole film

Asa and I played with pinhole filming today!
He took a bunch of videos of me dancing around with different pin hole lenses on his camera to achieve different effects. Mostly it made me look like I had extra arms.
I spliced together a few of the clips:

Watching it reminded me of one of my favorite things at the MoMA, this fantastic movie from the Lumière Brothers, The Serpentine Dance:

It was filmed in 1899 and each frame was hand colored! I found it incredibly captivating at the museum and am glad to have found it on YouTube.
