My Birthday Black and Red Dress Up Tea Party

Last night Heather hosted a tea party in honor of my birthday.

We put together a lot of delicious, mostly vegan, snacks and delicacies. There was also chocolate cake and vegan pumpkin cheesecake.

Chris made a lot of the food. Here he is dipping red velvet cake in chocolate.

And of coarse we all looked fabulous!

I had a very lovely night. Thank you to everyone who made my birthday wonderful!

Jonah's car

Last night a bunch of us went out to Jonah's garage to peel the tape stencil off of his car. He's spent the past few months working on the stencil and he finished it and painted it last week.

This is how it looked after being painted chrome, before taking off the tape

Jonah took off the first strip

Then we all joined in and got covered in tape

It was really satisfying taking off the tape to reveal the crisp lines of the design

The car also has gull-wing doors that Jonah constructed himself.

His car is definitely cooler than yours.

Pretty girls wearing my dresses

I had a photo shoot with Asa the other night.

Heather and Athena were my lovely models.

This is the first finished photo to come out of the shoot.

Here are a few behind the scenes shots from my camera

A new necklace

I loved making Heather's necklace so much that I made another one using the same base material of garter straps. This one also has a heart locket and re-purposed chains and pearls.

I decided to give the necklace to Jill.
Here she is wearing it...with a deer ghost skull mask...looking at James Jean's Kindling.

A Pirate's Life For Me

For Jill's birthday, Captain Heather and I held a pirate party.

We collected all me shiny treasure to display

And put on our finest pirate rags

And ate limes

And all me hearties dressed the part as well

During the night a pirate ship be constructed

And pillaging ensued

Yo Ho Ho!
